History of B.A.S

      Brinkman Arabian Stables started in 1964 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. In 1967, we moved to Selby, South Dakota where it stayed active until 1989 breeding champion show horses.  Over that period of time, we managed BAS consignment sale for 11 successful years.  In 1990, we decided to pursue other avenues.  However, we were always missing our Arabians.

      In 2003, with the help of our friend Gene Reichart we purchased 7 mares and 1 stallion, T R Alada Legacy.  In the fall of 2005, we decided Legacy would go on the show circuit with Jeff Schall, winning his classes at Sioux Falls, and Sahara Sands Region 6 unanimous champion in Brookings, SD., Canadian National Champion and U.S. Top 5 at Albuquerque.  In 2005, we also added T R AladaHeat to our stallion line, who is the youngest son of Aladdinn.  He too was Region 6 Champion and Scottsdale Top 10.   Last but not least we added Aries BFA. An own son of the great Versace out of the champion Psymadre daughter MC Psynammon. Aries has started his show career with Ted Carson with wins from Region 16 Champion, Firecracker Classic, Scottsdale. and 2 National Champion top 10s.  Since coming to BAS, he has added National Top 10 Futurity and Region 6 Champion stallion at the hands of Jeff Schall from Shada Inc. stables.  Thanks Jeff and Ted.     As of july 1 21 we have add 2 more stallions. with the passing of the great ARIES BFA we have added REMBRANDT LA  son of Versace out of a DA Valentino daughter. thanks to Les Sichine from Rohara and ROHARA RAMPORT LKH  son of A JERICHO and out of INDIANNE PSYLK.

      At this time, we are able to offer to you some of our top bred mares and foals. We have always strived to bring to the public top performance and halter prospects at very reasonable prices.  Feel free to look us over.
